Our first task of the day is to take a trekking permit. Then we will visit the main places of Kathmandu valley. Some of them are Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest and holiest Hindu temple; Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch, we will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square where Kumari temple can be seen, the temple of the Living goddess.

Today, we drive to Beni in the early morning. It takes about eight hours to reach there. Our way will be through the mountains along the banks of Trishuli and Marshyangdi River to Pokhara. We drive further from Pokhara deeper into the mountains with the magnificent views of the Annapurna ranges. We stay overnight at the local lodge at Beni.

We will take a rough road from Beni to Darbang. It is around 24 kilometres away. We managed to get to Takam finally. We crossed the towering Gurjal Himal in about three hours by foot. We have a tent for our overnight stay.

Enjoying the dramatic scenery on the way, we will walk toward Takam to Lamsung. People of this place are not used to seeing foreigners. Besides this, they have a lot of stories to tell about the insurgency in Nepal. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

We climb through a dense pine forest with musk deer darting in the undergrowth to reach Gurjaghat. We can enjoy the great view of the Dhaulagiri range up to ChurenHimal in the west. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

Today, we cross Myagdi to Baglung and then into the former Tibetan Refugee camp of this region which is the entrance to Dhorpatan. This place only Hunting Reserve in Nepal. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

Dhorpatan is known as a paradise for birds. We can get to watch Danphes and other rare migratory species. It’s very hard to believe that people fought a war here. We will reach Nisi Dhor unknowingly. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

We cross over from Baglung to Rukum District. We can witness the dense forests all the way which are very beautiful. All the villages in this region are quite picturesque. Our night will be cool at tented accommodation.

From Tallo Sera, we walk to Lukum in Rukum district. Lukum is a village populated only by Magars and Dalits who have different cultures. We can get some knowledge of them. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

Today we walk to Thabang known as the cradle of the Maoist revolution. This place was damaged in army attacks. But there has been some development of infrastructure after the war ended. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

From Thabang, we continue to Jalja La Pass and the highest point in Jalja La is Dharampani (3900 m). From Dharampani, we can view the great views of Api Saipal in the west and Dhaulagiri at the east. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

We move down to the village of Jelbang. This village is ethnically mixed. So we can see the different cultures of people in this place. Our night will be cool because we spend a night at tented accommodation.

We finally get to Rolpa today district the ending point of our trip. Rolpa was also a rebel base area and for many ten years of insurgency under total control of Maoists. We stay overnight at a local guesthouse in Suliochaur.

Today, we return back to Kathmandu from Suliochaur. It takes about 13 hours via bus to reach Kathmandu. We can see many beautiful things on our way. We stay overnight at tented accommodation.

After having a night's rest in Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We will attend a small farewell program organized by Best Nepal Trek. We hope while returning back to your home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
