Trek to Everest Base Camp.
Hiking up to Everest base camp or trek Everest Base Camp whatever peoples call it the same trek and it presents amazing Mountain views. I did plan since last year and finely this October I visited my dream place with the Best Nepal Trek. This trek is naturally cold and short breathless. But the breathless hike presents amazing mountain views including the whole Khumbu Himalayas. I found it is part of the heaven on earth.
On the day, we drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap and a 20-minute flight to Lukla 2,860 meters. After that 3 hours trek to Phakding 2,610 meters. It’s quite easy trails passing through the pine forest and Local villages with terraced fields. Phakding is a small touristic place that is going to visit Everest base camp overnight stay there.
Day two hike after breakfast, our trek starts with the easy walk to Benker village. You’ll pass through Tok Tok village with beautiful scenic waterfalls and a white-capped mountain view of Mt. Thamserku. You get to Monju village and the Sagarmatha National Park entrance. After buying a permit to cross the suspension bridge and having lunch at Jorsalli for lunch. From here trails go a bit flat till to Larcha Dovan and cross Hillary bridge over Bhote Koshi. Then you’ll be ascending Namche bazaar. Along the way passing through the beautiful pine forest, you can have the first Everest view of the clear day overnight at Namche Bazaar.
On day Three, after regular breakfasts, we visited the National Park Headquarters there. We had beautiful panoramic mountains view the Mt Everest, and then we ascend to 3800 meters Everest View Hotel and back to Namche Bazaar. Afternoon we just hung around Namche Bazaar, its beautiful village with many coffee shops and shopping centres.
On day four, we went to Tengboche Monastery which lies at the top of the hill, Tengboche is the biggest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region every day around 3 pm go to its day ceremony this hill presents fantastic scenic. On this day we walk in the beautiful Rhododendron forest from Phungitenga. The trails are easy until lunchtime after lunch ascending.
Then we went to Dingboche, and the next day we did acclimatization along the way to Nagarjuna Hill. Then day by day, continue to Lobuche and Gorakshep visit Everest base camp Kalapatthar and descend Lukla passing through Pheriche. The Everest trek is amazing trail everybody should visit once.
