Welcome to Kathmandu! Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can relax or stroll around the hotel area for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Rich in art, culture, and heritage, Kathmandu has also been a major religious hub for years. We will be visiting several of the world-heritage sites in the valley. Some of the sites include a major pilgrimage site in the country—Pashupatinath; 'the Monkey Temple'—Swayambhunath; and the world’s largest stupa—Boudhanath—in a private vehicle. After the sightseeing tour of the city, we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
We will take a bus ride from Kathmandu to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. You can also take a flight. A bus ride will take about 6-7 hours, whereas the flight will take 30 minutes to take you to Pokhara. We will stay there for the night, and you can enjoy your evening enjoying the natural beauty of Fewa Lake and its surroundings.
This is the first day of our trip. After breakfast, we head to Mardipul and start the hike to Karpani. We follow a road less travelled towards Ghachok, which crosses the colony of Lhachock (975m). Then, through the fields of the village, we descend gently through a natural rocky passageway to reach our camp at Karpani.
The trail takes us along the west bank of the Seti Khola (river) and through several small, scattered Gurung settlements, paved with large stone paths, and several of the climbs are spread in the same way. We cross the Sardi Khola and make a strong climb to our camp on a ridge over the river with a beautiful view of the south of Annapurna (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,336 m) and Fishtail “Machhapuchare” (6,999 m).
After regular breakfast, we ascend through forests of oaks and rhododendrons to the ridge that separates Seti and Madi Khola. In the spring season, the forest is full of Primula, orchids, and rhododendron flowers. After arriving at an open meadow, you can have fantastic views of Mount Fishtail, and we then continue to the top of the ridge. Then we go on a short descent to reach an open meadow which is used by the locals for buffalo. Then continue again to descend through the forest, appearing in open grassy meadows over Sikles village (2,000 m). From our cam site, Sikles presents a panoramic splendour of the mountain from sunrise to sunset, including sunrise and sunset.
Today is excursion day, so you have a great opportunity to explore north of Sikes viewpoint along a ridge, which offers beautiful views of the Annapurna mountain range and Lamjung Himal. Today you can spend the day relaxing and enjoying the amazing mountain vistas or travelling around Sikles. Sikles is the largest Gurung settlement with traditional civilization and rituals, which we can observe closely.
After a regular breakfast with a lovely perspective on the mountains, we take a precarious drop from our site through the little settlement of Khitang to Madi Khola. At that point, we walk a progressively steady way along the western bank of the waterway with extraordinary open doors for winged creature watching—keep an eye out for kingfishers, hands-on, and white stream babble. After a long steep drop, we show up at Laamokhet for our medium-term remains.
After breakfast in Laamokhet, some simple strolling cuts us slowly down the west bank of the waterway through backwoods and field patios with a few little settlements. At that point, the path climbs steeply through the woodland and, bit by bit, proceeds to Kalikastan. We stop in the town before proceeding along a wide path and rising to the highest point of an open green edge with all-encompassing perspectives on the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, and Manaslu Himals in the east and Begnas and Rupa lakes below the edge toward the south. We will set up camp here medium-term.
In the early morning, we follow the path from the camp to the viewpoint at the edge to watch the sunrise over the mountains and back to the campsite for breakfast. At that point, the path slips steeply from the edge to the significant path intersection, where we take the path toward the east. The most recent day of our excursion experiences rice porches with blended ethnic groups of occupants and a stunning grand panorama. From Bagnas Tal, drive back to Pokhara for an overnight.
A 7-8-hour drive will return us back to Kathmandu. We stay here for the night. You can buy souvenirs at Thamel, step into some restaurants or clubs to enjoy the city life, or stroll in the streets, capturing photographs for memory. We will prepare for your departure on this day.
You will be returning to your home filled with adventure memories during your stay in Nepal and trip to the Annapurna Region. Our representative will help you with your departure to your homeland.
